Dear Mng. Yvonne and All,
It's been 3 weeks past the consultation and I'm very sorry for the long silence. I knew that Dave attended to all of the mails in our behalf. Better late than never! Wanna THANK YOU and CONGRATS! to all who joined the big event.
I salute everybody for the cooperation, talents and skills we shared that made it a success. We, the steering committee, had been very much worried and had their sleepless nights a week prior to the consultation wondering if we could really make it. We haven't done much of the preparation in the span of 2 years since Judith and Jane accepted the turnover in Switzerland. We only started when Dave and Eryl was back from their wedding last January 2007.
Despite of everyone's duties and work, we still found time to make with our several meetings even bringing our kids until late at night ta awan ti ag awir. This did not hinder us to proceed with whatever was to be done. We are just very thankful of our young, kind and energetic BIBAK President Dave, to fellow BIBAK members and of course Mng. Yvonne who willingly extended help with her organizing skills and bothered waking, emailing us 3 months prior to the ICBE. You're a star! I could say that courage and determination are Igorot traits to be treasured.
A million thanks also to Professor Caridad Fiar-od who came all the way from our country to share all what she had re-Igorot Culture.
Gawis ay Cordillera... MATAGOTAGO TAKO AM-IN!
Hope to see you all in Germany.
I gave all the participants details to Agnes and I think she needs time to send you so I just want to send Monica's email as I don't have Jane Batnag's. She might have forgotten to jot in her registration. It's This email address is being protected from spambots.
