Book Donations of Travels, Travails, Triumph of Igorot Cordillerans in Europe

It’s heart-warming to know that several buyers have pledged to make books donations to libraries of schools, universities, and museums in different places back in our homeland; and to associations, or simply as gifts to friends.

May I present to you the recipients of these donations.  But beforehand, it’s worth noting that the following are the recorded ones, there are possibly more books being donated elsewhere.

Baguio

• University of Baguio will have a copy, courtesy of Cesar Taguba

• The Museum of Igorot Cultures and Arts at SLU donated by Yvonne Belen

• UP Baguio library will also get a copy

• As well as the Baguio City Public library

• A copy for Pines City Colleges, courtesy of Diana Baldo

• Lorena Clerc will give copies to the following:

  • University of the Cordilleras 

  • Saint Louis Elem and High Schools

  • As well as SLU main Library 

Benguet

• Benguet Provincial Library will get a copy

• Benguet State University donated by Cesar Taguba

• And Cristina Moncado will give books to the following:

  • Itogon Library

  • Alejo Pacalso High School in Itogon

  • Tuding Elementary School

Lepanto

• Judith Balangyao-Bowens of Ireland will donate copies to

  • Lepanto Elementary and High Schools 

Sagada

• Saint Mary's School will receive a copy from Diana Baldo

Bontoc

• From Lorena Clerc, copies to:

  • Mountain Province State College 

  • Saint Vincent High School

• From Joy Oloan-Ramirez of Greece

  • The Bontoc Public Libraries

Other parts of Mountain Province 

• Otucan-Bila High School will receive a book from Joy Oloan-Ramirez

Outside of the Cordilleras

• Books will be given by Yvonne Belen to:

  • UP Main library in Diliman, Quezon City 

• Philippine Embassy in The Hague, The Netherlands will receive a book from by MABIKAs Foundation - The Netherlands

• George Londob will give copies to the following:

  • Ilocos Sur Polytechnic State College  

  • Cervantes National School 

  • Saint Agnes School 

To Associations

And lastly, I’m sure that there are those who have already sent or will send a copy to friends as gifts.  I, for one, will be sending a book to a school batchmate, who will then pass it on to our other batchmates.
