Rambak Austria - Verein zur Förderung der indigenen Philippinischen Kultur in Österreich (Rambak Austria - Organization for the preservation of the Philippine indigenous culture in Austria) joined the KUBÖ 2022 festival held in Vienna, Austria on September 2 to 4, 2022 to promote awareness on the Philippine indigenous culture, history and geography. The KUBÖ Festival is the first multi-day event about Philippine art and culture in Austria. The group exhibited the ethnic attire of the Cordillera region in the northern Philippines and had a photo wall, where visitors could wear a costume and take photos of their own. The group also provided a Kids Corner with rattan interior and coloring pictures of indigenous costumes provided by Jme Foronda.
The highlight of Rambak’s participation was the Fashion Show of the “Inabe/Inabel” handwoven costumes of the six provinces of the Cordillera Administrative Region namely: Benguet, Ifugao, Mountain Province, Abra, Apayao and Kalinga. The Fashion Show also included a few designer outfits.
The moderator of the activity was Marilyn Pretty Magoo. The Fashion Show included models enumerated below:

The show was well applauded by the audience from the beginning until the end and more so, when they were invited for a shot of “tapuey” rice wine at Rambak’s booth.
