Reactions to the Video: ICBE Through the Years

Hello, as a 2nd generation, most of you probably know that I have been attending the ICBE since day 1 apart from the one in Switzerland.
Attending the first ICBE in Belgium was back when I was like 3 years old. I remember briefly at that time I didn’t really understand what I was doing and most of the time playing with other kids. Also, I remembered my parents pushing me to put the traditional attire which was pretty cute though.
It was only during the ICBE in Ireland when I was 12 years old or something that I understood a bit of what the organization was about but was still a bit shallow.
And now that I am 22 and attending the 10th ICBE in Amsterdam, I am trying to be active and learn more about my culture. Also, as I am a tourism student this can help me share my roots with my friends and other people that I’ll meet in the future
